Our Background
Nutrideer™ is a family-owned business with a strong connection and passion for deer farming in New Zealand.
Deer have always been regarded as a sacred and revered creature, namely for the exceptional health benefits found in the various bi-products. Deer velvet, deer placenta, and deer pisel, have all been used in natural medicine for thousands of years. However, no one had ever explored the benefits of Deer Milk for nutrition.
Since 2016, our innovative and passionate team have been pioneering the deer milking industry, developing and refining the farming and milking processes to develop a World Class deer milking operation. Our focused research initiatives with leading scientists, has led to groundbreaking discoveries regarding the exceptional health and nutritional advantages of New Zealand Red Deer Milk.

Deer Milk in Ancient Medicine
According to ancient Chinese Pharmacopeia, Deer Milk was used in the treatment of many ailments for people. The most famous ancient tale was the tale of a boy called Young Master Tan, who disguised himself as a baby deer by dressing in deer skin with tail and fur.
He would pretend to suckle from a wild mother deer, storing the milk in his hidden bucket. He would take the milk back to his sick parents, who had eye disease and were going blind.
Eventually, after a few weeks of doing this, his parents recovered their eye sight and young Master Tan was a brave hero.
